It includes requirements in various aspects such as the definition and description of product categories, determination of purpose and scope, data collection requirements, impact assessment, interpretation of product carbon footprint, and reporting of product carbon footprint.
This standard is applicable to the carbon footprint assessment of photovoltaic inverter products, and the product categories correspond to the product classification code UN CPC 461 in the "Central Product Classification" (CPC) developed by the United Nations Statistical Commission.
