The International Carbon Platform for Textile and Apparel (ICDP-TA) makes its debut at the 2023 Global Textile Carbon Neutrality Summit, becoming the world's first comprehensive carbon disclosure platform for the entire textile industry supply chain.
At present, dozens of textile and apparel companies, including Shanghai Tiqiao, UPW, and Texwinca, have uploaded their product carbon information to the platform. The International Carbon Platform for Textile and Apparel, jointly launched by the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Textile and Apparel (CCCT) and Shanghai Carbon Newture Technology, utilizes technologies such as blockchain, IoT, big data, and artificial intelligence. It integrates carbon data, carbon emissions reduction, and carbon finance modules to ensure the security and transparency of upstream and downstream product dual carbon data, third-party-verified compliance, and traceability.
