Carbon emissions have become a key focus both domestically and internationally. With the advancement and promotion of carbon footprint research, European countries have gradually established and refined carbon tax mechanisms. In the United States, a congressional resolution mandated the imposition of carbon taxes on high-carbon-emission products starting in 2020. As a result, calculating and optimizing the carbon footprint of products is critical for maintaining competitiveness in the future low-carbon market.
Accurately quantifying product carbon footprints and reducing product emissions have become crucial competitive factors. Therefore, research on quantifying and optimizing product carbon footprints is urgently needed.
